Tango - The complete inkjet CTP and proofing system, with space saving design.

Going CTP couldn't be easier. Simply output a digital file to the inkjet printer (supplied as part of the Tango system). The printer then prints directly onto the Tango Aluminium CTPij printing plate, using the Tango high resolution plate imaging fluid (water-based). Once printed, the plate is then baked in the integrated oven and then it is ready to go on-press.

As a result of the Tango system using a water-based imaging fluid, and not a solvent fluid. There is no need to have good ventilation / extraction where the unit is situated.

The Tango CTPij plate consists of a dimensionally stable grained aluminium substrate with a patent pending coating. The plates coating allows for high- resolution printing when used in conjunction with the Tango imaging fluid, and makes these plates capable of long run lengths.

No more film, stripping and pre-press chemical processing required for your press-ready plate. The Tango system eliminates the need for a camera, imagesetter, plate-frame, processor and offers a big improvement over polyester plate systems.

Tango is the ultimate Computer-to-Plate solution for most offset printing applications.

The Tango system comes complete with Xante OpenRIP software, which allows you to produce perfect conventional halftone dots. Stochastic and hybrid screening are available as options.

The Epson Stylus Pro 4880 printer is capable of producing a maximum plate size of 25" x 36", with a max image area of 24" x 34".
